New Life Assembly Leadership team

It takes an entire team of leaders and volunteers to ensure all that happens at New Life Assembly is done with a high level of excellence. We hope you will enjoy learning a little bit about our leaders from their bios but we also encourage you to find them and have a personal conversation when you visit.

Bill Savage

Lead Pastor

After almost 16 years of ministry in Ohio, Bill, along with his wife Amy and their three children, joined the New Life Assembly family in the summer of 2018. He passionately encourages everyone to live for Jesus, regardless of their past. Pastor Bill challenges today’s Jesus followers to pursue God wholeheartedly, instead of settling for a status-quo faith journey. Outside of church, you might see him at a high school football game, track and field meet, or on the golf course. Our pastor is heavily involved not just in our church, but also in our community. He serves as the president of the Ministerial Alliance and has been a member of the Collinsville Track and Field Booster Club for three years. Pastor Bill emphasizes that he and his family came here to pastor the community, not just a church. In January 2024, Pastor Bill began his journey to earn a Master of Arts in Missional Leadership from Trinity Graduate School (online) in North Dakota.

Deborah Kupiec

Care Ministry Director

After dedicating my life to raising a family, excelling in my career, and caring for my husband of 44 years until he passed away, I finally had the opportunity to focus on God's plan for my retirement years. Guided by the Holy Spirit, I discovered my purpose: to love and support my fellow Christians, especially those who are ill, hungry, or in need of kindness and gentle care. Through Bible study and prayer, we learn to truly appreciate and apply the lessons the Lord teaches us, enabling us to 'Love One Another' in practical ways. Drawing from life's experiences, our Congregational Care Ministry Team is devoted to giving physical, emotional, and spiritual support and encouragement to our New Life Assembly family. Deborah began her role in early 2024, and we are grateful to God for blessing our church with her leadership in Congregational Care.
